Recruitment for the Project - LIKE TREE LIKE FRUIT

National Forum for Lifelong Guidance Policy started the Recruitment for the Project - LIKE TREE LIKE FRUIT the prevention of inheritance of social exclusion by supporting the parents of children with educational problems, co-financed by the European Union Within the European Social Fund. We invite all interested people to participate in the project.

Project co-financed by the European Union within the European Social Fund.POKL 2007-2013, Priority VII. Promotion od social integration. Measures 7.2. prevention of exclusion and reinforcement the social economy sector. Sub Measures 7.2.1 - Professional and social activation of people at risk of social exclusion.

The main goal of the project is to offer PSYCHOLOGICAL, COUNSELLING, EDUCATION, TRAINING SUPPORT by the end of 2010 to the parents from Łomża region , who report to the Second Psychological – Pedagogical Counselling Service in Łomża with the educational problems of their children.

Detailed goals of of the project:

1. increasing self-esteem and social activation of participants of the project aimed at developing interpersonal,organizational,analytical skills in the form of individual and group working.


2. Identifying opportunities and professional aptitude of the project participants through the preparation of Individual Action Plans to identify professional aptitude and action planning for employment.
 

3.Increasing the educational competencies of the project participants in the field of work with children with educational problems and cognitive dysfunctions by means of educational and counselling support in the form of individual and group activities.
 

4. Increasing and updating professional qualifications of participants of the project through a specialized, tailored to the needs and abilities of the elderly and the disabled, vocational training taking into account the issue of flexible forms of work. The project is targeted to 30 parents (25 women and 5 men) who are unemployed or professionally inactive, benefiting from he Second Psychological – Pedagogical Counselling Service in Łomża, residents of the city and county of Łomża . The project intended the participation of at least 21 people with disabilities and 15 people after 45 years of age.

Actions to achieve:

  • PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT

"Self- esteem" - 2 hours INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT aimed at increasing self-esteem and belief in possessed capcities and skills.
"TOGETHER" - 12 hour group workshop, which will acquire to gain knowledge and skills to improve the relationships within the family.

  • COUNSELLING SUPPORT

"ACTIVATION” - lasting 6 hours group counselling aimed at exploring interests and professional aptitudes and preparation for active job search.
"SELECTING THE PROFESSION – IPD” - 2 hours individual counselling aimed at planning participants' careers and the selection
of appropriate training.
“ENTERING THE LABOUR MARKET” - Individual 2-hour meeting with the professional counsellor,
preparation of application documents (CV, covering letter)

  • EDUCATION SUPPORT

”I KNOW” - 6-hour group educational workshops with the teacher,
during which the project participants will learn how to support their children in their development and prevent their failure
in education.
“HELP” - 2-hour individual consultation on the skills of dealing with the emotions of participants children,
difficulties in their behaviour and motivating them to learn.

  • TRAINING SUPPORT

GENERAL TRAININGS - (60 hours) - enabling the acquisition, increase or change of qualifications and professional competences
in handling the computer, customer service, flexible forms of employment and occupation on the phone.

SPECIALIZED TRAININGS - (40 hours) - tailored to individual needs and professional aptitudes and personalities of the project participants.

National Forum for Lifelong Guidance Policy started the Recruitment for the Project -RETURNS – a programme to confirm the qualifications of people returning to Podlaskie labour market through trainings, guidance and vocational examinations, co-financed by the European Union Within the European Social Fund. We invite all interested people to participate in the project.


RETURNS – a programme to confirm the qualifications of people returning to podlaski labour market through trainings,guidance and vocational examinations. Project co-financed by the European Union within the European Social Fund.  POKL Priority VI, Measures 6.1. Support for people who are without jobs in the regional labour market.

The aim of the project is the return to the mid-2011 (within six months after completion of participation in the project) to the Podlaskie labour market 100 people from the area of Podlaskie, remain unemployed as a result of re-emigration, or work in the informal economy sector.  By returning to the labour market is meant to take employment  or other activity under the flexible forms of work and self-employment.

Detailed goals of of the project:

1. Supplement of the professional qualifications by the end of 2010 of 100 participants of the project in the form of specialized trainings preparing for the setting up and running of participants own businesses, including 50 people in additional specialized trainings, preparing for the examinations confirming professional competences.
 

2. Confirmation of the professional qualifications by the end of 2010 of 50 participants of the project,who have completed the specialized trainings, in the form of journeyman exams or other exams confirming possessed competences.
 

3. Preparation of Individual Action Plans by the end of 2010 for 100 participants of the project in the form of individual counselling services - IPD.

The target group for this project is 100 people remaining out of employment from voivodeship of Podlaskie who worked abroad or in the informal sector, including at least 50 women, 50 persons above 45 years of age and at least 5 people with disabilities. The project preference will be people living in districts: bielski, siemiatycki, wysokomazowiecki and moniecki with high growth rate of unemployment as a result of re-emigration.


Actions to achieve:

1. VOCATIONAL TRAININGS for about 100 participants of the project. In all training programs
is included one-day seminar on the labour market in Podlaskie.

  • "MY COMPANY" TRAINING for 100 participants of the project. It will prepare for setting up and running own businesses based on the acquired and certified professional qualifications.
  • "QUALIFICATION" TRAINING for 50 participants. It will prepare to journeyman exams in the professions: (house) painter - paper hanger, tiler, plasterer, electrician, confectioner, cook of a small gastronomy, beautician and guardian of the elderly.

2. QUALIFICATION TESTS for the 50 participants of the project, including journeyman exams.
Exams will be purchased in the institutions which confirm professional competences, and conduct journeyman exams in accordance with applicable law in this area.

3. INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING for 100 participants of the project taking part in the trainings.  Guidance will be performed by IPD method in the form of individual sessions with a professional counsellor and business advisor.

  • "SUITABILITY  – WHO AM I AND WHAT CAN I DO?" – Session related to the identification of the suitability of professional talents.  The aim of session is creation of the PROFILE OF PARTICIPANT.
  •  "ACTION PLAN – OBTAINING THE OCCUPATION" - second counselling session made after completion of training The aim of the session is a detailed action plan for the participant's work, including preparation of application documents and Resume
  • "MY COMPANY - A businessman or craftsman? "- counselling session terminating participation in the project.
     

The aim of the session is to analyze the suitability to start participants own businesses based on the acquired and certified professional competences, which closely corresponds to the nature of work and services in crafts.
